Serves as General Manager overseeing operations in Chile, responsible for managing 1.1GW of solar/wind operating capacity and ~1.6GW of pipeline. Additionally, responsible for driving company growth in the Americas (U.S.A. and Chile) through project development, project execution, and M&A of pre-NTP and operating assets.

Lead Business Development team in Chile, reported to Global VP of BD (US HQ). Responsible for project development, M&A of pre-COD assets, JVs, PPA origination and portfolio hedging. Added +450MWp of greenfield assets, 93MWp of late-stage acquisitions and 20MWp of operating assets. Project director of 160MWp Sonnedix Meseta de los Andes. Responsible from development up to NTP. Project was designed with a ground-breaking structure to supply 24x7 power with a solar plant using multiple PPAs, including off-solar hedging. Project included managing a JV.

JV of Actis and Mainstream Renewable Power, joined the company at inception. As a member of the Executive Committee reporting to the Board of Directors, played a pivotal role in overseeing company growth, encompassing Business Development, commercial activities, regulatory affairs, and business management. Successfully guided the company from having no market positioning to becoming the second-largest renewable player in Chile at the time, achieving 332MW of installed capacity. Company, was subsequently sold to Innergex for an EV of ~US$670 million. Recognized with IJ Global 2017 Latin America Wind Deal of the Year and the PFI Awards 2017 Renewable Deal of the Year.

Managed fuel procurement and logistics for Chile, Argentina, and Colombia, reporting to the Fuels Director and AES Global Fuel Committee. Oversaw a budget of ~US$0.5 billion annually for solid fuels, including coal and freight services. Implemented successful hedging strategies to mitigate fuel price volatility, enhancing the company's margin. Orchestrated company's first coal cargo trade and conducted fuel-related due diligence for a $728 million takeover. Introduced inventory management tool that optimized power station operations, minimizing inventory levels, and tracking lost time/money for significant cost savings. Recognized with the AES APEX Global Award for Financial Excellence.

Part of a leading energy and climate change consultancy. Analyzed investment strategies and built financial models for blue-chip multinationals, National/state utilities and private companies which contributed to the valuation of target companies and structuring of deals.
