I am a director-of-photography, gaffer, & film programmer based in Minneapolis, MN that has been shooting narratives, documentary, broadcast television, & music videos for over 10 years. My shooting style is characterized by dollying wide establishing shots, handheld mids, & macro detail tripod work, and my lighting style chases natural light and leans towards daylight. Throughout the years I’ve had the honor of shooting thousands of feet of 16mm, and many thousands of hours digitally, working with important humanitarians like Will Steger & Bill Gates, and diverse talents such as Lizzo & Trampled By Turtles.Recently I have had the privelege of founding & running a repertory film program at the historic Grandview Theatre in St. Paul, MN, which I have GM’d for over six years. We have sold thousands of tickets and have played titles such as Stand By Me, Gummo, Taxi Driver, No Country For Old Men, Mulholland Drive, Easy Rider, Fury Road, There Will Be Blood, & Yojimbo.I am a graduate of Lake Superior College with a Associates Degree in Broadcasting, & the Minneapolis College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking.
