My name is Daniel Gavidia. I'm currently a Lead Compensation Analyst at USC, and recently completed my Master's Degree in Human Resources Management.My passion has always been to help people in one way or another. Whether giving advice or simply lending a hand, I have always been driven to help. I believe that in order to succeed, one must be self-motivated, a leader, a team player, and ambitious. I am lucky to have had those qualities instilled in me. I have always been a quick learner, organized, analytical, and strive to do the best in what I do.I graduated from the University of Southern California back in 2008, after studying business administration, human resources, and management consulting. I spent the next 4.5 years building a solid foundation of compensation and benefits experience at Farmer Brothers. I then made a big change and moved out of state to work for the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, expanding my knowledge and learning about a new industry for me. After spending about a year and a half in the hospitality business, I got a call from Nestle and was able to move back to my hometown to both challenge myself and develop new skill sets. I worked on various projects such as improving compensation evaluations, FLSA audits, and impact analysis of Performance evaluations on merit and incentive pay. When Nestle moved the company to the East Coast, I chose to stay in Los Angeles. I found myself back at USC, returning as a staff member this time around, and applying everything I've learned over the past 12 years since graduating.
