Daniel is an experienced CEO and Board Member, and currently serves as the CEO and member of the Board of Directors for Superblue, the innovative experiential arts company based in Miami, Florida. Daniel has a long and successful track record of building small and mid-size companies and leading them to successful exits. He previously joined two small companies (each under $2mm in annual sales) as CEO and built both into national/international chains with up to $100mm annual sales in less than 5 years. In recent years, Daniel has been advising and investing in small and mid-size companies that are struggling under high debt, bad leases, litigation or other problems and need turnaround management expertise, but often cannot afford large turnaround firms. Daniel has assumed both outside advisor and director roles as well as Interim CEO positions with such companies. Daniel is a Harvard Law School graduate and attended the University of Chicago (Booth) for his MBA. Prior to his business career, Daniel was a Partner at the International Law Firm of Winston & Strawn where he specialized in private equity and turnaround transactions. Daniel has been a CEO/Advisor/Board Member with a wide range of companies, including arts and entertainment, restaurants, dating services, advertising agencies and sales organizations. He has extensive experience with both company-owned locations and franchises, both within the US and internationally.
