When Kabbage extended our product to allow customers to link their business checking accounts, I created a system for reviewing the portfolio of accounts with business checking account revenues, which included data cleanup and organization in SQL, the tracking of all documents, and comprehensive reports for management. Built the technical framework for automating business checking account underwriting. Coordinated with the Chief Risk Officer, the Director of Product Operations, and the Director of Technology to migrate our portfolio review process to JIRA. Built a set of decision rules to prioritize portfolio review, and worked with data science to optimize and automate that process.

Investigated the technical errors in our product flow and built reports to help prioritize resolution efforts. Oversaw new code deployments and alerted the development team of all bugs, meanwhile informed all involved departments in the office to the extent of the issues and the expected time for a fix. Also fixed technical errors on a one-off basis as customers called in.

Independently automated Kabbage’s account reconciliation process, saving time and increasing accuracy. Taught myself Microsoft Excel’s coding language, VBA, to write the necessary macro. Worked with risk, developing the analytical framework of a joint Kabbage/UPS promotion within a clear, easily updatable excel template, leading to increases in Kabbage customers’ outstanding credit and involvement with UPS. Was also a writer for the marketing team that earned a position in Mail Boxes Etc.’s small business vendor program.

Cleveland, Ga

Crafted, planned, and executed 76 dynamic programs for two separate groups of 56 and 75 rising 8th graders. Strategically managed fourteen counselors and six activity specialists through individualized, positive feedback; active inclusion in ideation, preparation, and implementation; and specifically delegated assignments. Created a schedule of interrelated, engaging programs that instilled positive values and built confidence within the campers, oftentimes improvising when necessary.
