Derbyshire born and bred, film fanatic, keen xc runner and like to get things done! ... Having had an interest in technology from a young age it seemed the best way to approach that would be to become a bartender! Been lucky enough to have traveled to various places around the world, mixing many MANY drinks along the way I then took the more traditional course to technology and after various home studies, transitioned from the hospitality industry to IT in the early noughties… I still remember dial up… I gained a solid background in infrastructure, automation and networks during this time, however, have since gravitated to what this means and how it can benefit within the service management space, which is a key area of interest and focus for me. Coupled with my experiences meeting an eclectic mix of people along the way has provided me with a rounded view on how best customer experience and IT can come together to ensure that everyone has their respective needs met.Analytical, creative and always looking for a better way to do things and very happy to challenge the status quo – it’s an ever-changing, fast-moving world we live in so you can’t be anchored in the ‘ we’ve always done it this way ‘ mentality.
