I am a biodiversity and global change scientist with expertise in spatial and statistical analysis, wildlife ecology, and conservation. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Montana. I am proficient in a variety of statistical and spatial analysis programs and have leveraged advanced tools for data analysis including Hierarchical modeling, Bayesian statistics, and occupancy modeling. I have coding experience in a variety of programs and have written and published software for ecological data acquisition using remote sensing. I have led large, multi-national collaborative groups in analyzing and publishing conservation data, and managed ecological projects in Tanzania, Madagascar, Brazil, and the United States. As a former volunteer manager and treasurer of an on-campus social club, I have skills in event planning, finance, and personnel management. I am passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace, and have served as treasurer of Rice's LGBTQ+ graduate organization and a member of Rice University’s School of Natural Sciences DEI committee.
