During my 20 years here I have worked in many areas of the software development organisation as it has grown from small start-up through acquisition by GE, gaining a broad experience of many programming languages, operating systems and associated technologies, processes and tools:* Worked in various roles from SCADA protocols to server to UI, and was instrumental in the porting of our legacy UIMX/unix based client to a C#/WinForms/DevExpress technology stack, becoming the technical lead for the UI team when it was formed 10 years ago.* Over the last 6 years I have led the UI development for several large scale projects, including a UX refresh of our client, working closely with business analysts, product owners, internal UX designers and external UX consultants* I became involved in development support activities 16 years ago when I migrated our source code with full change history into ClearCase/ClearQuest with UCM. For 11 years after that I held a dual role in the organisation heading up the development support activities while continuing to be actively involved in software development.* I have worked on many browser based applications and associated technology stacks (Apache, JBOSS, ASP).
