Minister, Students & Families
Current- Serving the flock faithfully, prayerfully, and in accordance with The Word. Modeling family values off-stage (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) and elder qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1-7). - Directing “Faith @ Home” with two other ministers for Brookwood families. Designed on-campus center in front lobby. Oversee creation of monthly physical & digital resources, quarterly parent workshops, and twice a year hosting event aimed at equipping over 200 parents and grandparents. - Supervising Student Ministry Assistant, two interns, 30 small group leaders, and 90+ volunteers - Shepherding 150+ 6th-12th grade students - Setting and evaluating evangelism, leadership, and discipleship goals quarterly. Regular utilization of mentorships, small groups, accountability, mission trips, and outreach events. - Regular preaching, about 2x a week. Raising up others to preach as well, training and equipping them. - Overseeing 3-4 annual retreats, camps for 200+ students, and 150+ volunteers, including recruiting and directing contract labor (worship leaders, videographer, speakers) - Leading student leadership team in accountability, responsibilities, mission trips, and gatherings at our home - Partnering with parents and students for counseling and pastoral care - Ministering through weddings, baptisms, and hospital visits - Setting weekly evangelism goals - Balancing ministry budget and also overseeing ~$10k in annual fundraising - Leading an adult small group - Attending schools and sporting events - Conducting bi-annual rallies and training volunteers - Initiating daily prayer and Bible reading for students. Last year saw roughly 40 students commit to reading daily for an entire year / read through the Bible. - Designed and now coach students through a weekly time of sharing a testimony live to other students as a part of our services.
