About Daniel Griffin, Cpa, Cva

I'm a tax accountant working in downtown Syracuse with over 9 years of public accounting experience. My main area of expertise is tax planning and strategizing, as well as tax preparation for individuals and all sizes of partnerships, corporations and LLC’s.I’m also currently specializing in tax credit consulting, including but not limited to the Historic Tax Credit and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and am also practicing in business valuations for gift & estate purposes, mergers and acquisitions, divorce, etc.I am a licensed CPA in the State of New York, a member of the AICPA, the NYSSCPA, and NACVA, and also have my CVA designation. I am a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, and am also on the board of the CNY Collaborative Family Law Professionals. I’m originally from Westmoreland, NY but have lived in Syracuse since 2003 (when I became a Le Moyne Dolphin and where I met my wife, Carly). For fun, I enjoy playing volleyball and getting out and playing golf, although that is becoming few and far between since we welcomed our first baby daughter, Leilah, in July 2016.
