I am a partner in the Entertainment and Litigation Departments of Greenberg Glusker. I represent artists, writers, producers, musicians, content creators, national retailers, and multi-national companies, and have substantial experience with copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, breach of contract, and the First Amendment. I also have substantial experience with entertainment industry collective bargaining agreements including those of the Screen Actors Guild, Writers Guild of America, and Directors Guild of America. I was previously Assistant General Counsel at the Directors Guild of America. Prior to attending law school, I was the Director of Development at a feature film production company affiliated with a major studio. Robinson, a case of first impression before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit regarding standing under the Copyright Act to challenge a notice of termination.**• Defense of NBCUniversal in a major copyright infringement matter concerning claims that Section 6, a pre-production screenplay, violated copyrights in the James Bond character and series of films. • Representation of Axl Rose in appeal of action for fraud and breach of contract against Activision arising from the use of “Welcome to the Jungle” in Guitar Hero III.**• Defense of Fortune 100 company in action alleging trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract, including at trial and on appeal.** ** Matters handled at a prior law firm.
