My job is to develop collaborations between national organizations and the University of Utah, including its hospitals, clinics, and colleges. My colleagues and I are committed to advancing the U's teaching, research, patient care, and community outreach -- all in conjunction with our corporate and foundation partners.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

I led a team of researchers, data scientists, and project managers for an applied academic institution that is part of the University of Utah’s Business School. We helped governments, non-profits, and philanthropists use data to better address difficult social problems.

Under Mayor Curtatone, I worked with cabinet members, analysts, and elected officials to improve the lives of the city's residents through data-driven policies.

Made policy recommendations based on financial and statistical data analysis; Oversaw a team of analysts and public outreach specialists; Facilitated regular meetings between the Mayor and department heads;

Facilitated bi-annual community meetings in 7 different wards; Tracked $2m in spending across dozens of departments and performed data analysis; Designed presentations for the Mayor, new logos and a website for ResiStat

Worked with stakeholders to implement a plan for the Jordan River; Researched funding mechanisms, negotiated between parties, and informed stakeholders; Created a model form-based code; Authored policy documents on urban planning topics.
