I focus my practice on business disputes and litigation with a concentration on complex, high-exposure insurance and reinsurance claims under a variety of insurance products, including directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices, general liability, crime and cyber policies. I also counsel clients on insurance regulatory inquiries and provide strategic guidance with respect to licensing, admission, fee structuring and related issues. Increasingly, a large part of my regulatory practice is devoted to advising insurtech entrepreneurs, established companies and venture capital firms on potential investments, product innovation, valuation and regulatory compliance.On the transactional side, I advise clients on policy placement, and coverage optimization by working with policyholders, brokers and insurers to facilitate policy negotiation. I also work with acquirers in the negotiation and placement of representations and warranties coverage.
