The sales team will be able to look at collected and consolidated data, from eight different sources tied together into one data model and displayed graphically through Google Charts. The dashboard is tied in with Randall-Reilly's active directory for ease of access. The application will be built using a LAMP (Linux, Appachy, MySQL, PHP)stack using the Symfony2 framework and Doctrine database relational manager. The goal of this project is to increase effiency of the sales team response time to customers in hopes to increase customer retention.My role as lead developer is to interact with the client to determine their coding standards and best practices for our team to follow. Gaining access to their development sandbox and determining the technologies to use in development. To orcistrate the completion of traning guides and code documentation for the project. Also I acted as a mentor to my team when development issues arrose. A goal for the team was to make the application modular so as new services were offered to customers they could be quicly and easially added; our team was able to create the application so when a new service was added it would only take forty-five minutes before that service was avaliable to have a report ran for it (pending collected data). -
