Police Communications Dispatcher
Current- Training newly hired staff members in the communications department as part of the duties included in my promotional position as a Communications Training Officer (CTO).
- Supervising & managing all staff members in both the communications department & property/evidence department as Acting Police Service Manager (PSM) during instances of absence from the command department.
- Answering both emergency and non-emergency phone line calls received from the public, police agencies, court establishments, and other miscellaneous departments.
- Dispatching police officers to calls for service within the city of Emeryville.
- Multitasking during emergency-calls for service, radio-traffic, and police requests while accompanied by a partner dispatcher or solo (Only dispatcher on-duty.)
- Processing sensitive documents and paper-work while operating with our department system.
