Responsibilities* Manage all pricing and inventory.* Gather and analyze data, making recommendations on Essential Air Service contracts, route planning, and scheduling.* Implement and maintain agreements with travel agencies, with a focus on online agencies (Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.) and meta searchers (Kayak, Hipmunk, etc.).* Administrator for SeaPort’s reservation software and websites.* Project manager for various developments and implementations.* Manage and enhance relationships with all of the major GDSs (Worldspan, Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and Galileo).* Oversee SeaPort’s help desk, which provides support to both frontline workers and management.Achievements* Enhanced distribution by executing agreements with Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline, and many others.* Wrote a standalone booking engine to be displayed on partner sites. Although only a few months old, it has already become the number two driver of direct sales.* Implemented Type A connectivity and full e-ticketing on all major GDSs.* Designed a browser-based program to handle all freight, including airwaybill creation, payment processing, tracking, and reporting.* Directly managed the migration of our reservation and freight systems for both SeaPort and Wings of Alaska, realizing significant cost savings by bringing them both onto a new shared system.* Created a new automated loyalty program with elite tiers and benefits.* Promoted three times in less than two years for excellent work performance, reliability, and an aptitude for learning new things quickly. (Previous positions include Director of Guest Relations, where I oversaw all of SeaPort's stations, CSAs, and Station Managers.)
