Responsibilities: - Establishing the commodity and credit risk management including preparing the risk policy and setting up the methodologies for calculating market and credit risk including limits.- Managing commodity and counterparty risk when trading power, gas and other energy derivatives through the use of limits including the creation of daily and weekly risk and P&L reports.- Communicating on a daily basis with the trading desk to keep abreast of positions and market movements as well as monitoring other commodities and factors that could have a role on the power and gas markets such emissions, oil and coal. - Creation of various risk models including PFE and VaR as well as Forward curves for commodities.- Weekly and monthly checks with brokers and accounting as well as the control of all inter book deals to ensure all trades are entered correctly.- Stress testing and monitoring liquidity risk arising from market movements on exchanges.- Taking part in the preparation of an RFP for the selection of a new ETRM software and the transfer from the previous trading system to the Endur system.- Reporting under both EMIR and REMIT.- Preparation of a KYC procedures.

Responsiblities:- Monitoring of Energy markets primarily the European power and gas market, coal and emissions. - Preparation of daily reports for traders dealing with the European power and energy markets, specifically the German, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian power markets.- Preparation of internal reports detailing market share, open interest and trends in the market.- Preparation of monthly reports and statistics for publishing on the exchange website.- Creation of a model for assisting in the calculation of settlement prices for the three markets and using the model to calculate the settlement price while consulting with market participants.- Financial model and setup of fee structure for the Central Security Depository divided by volume.- Implementation of a change to the Trayport trading system from the previous trading system.

Responsibilities:- The setup of a trading system for 3 large gas trading companies including calculations for evaluating both risk and market value of trades and the structure of trading books.- Involved in the creation of a specific contract and risk manager software system in particular the parts dealing with the calculation of risk and preparation of forward curves from exchange traded products.- Setup of trading and risk calculation for a large Czech oil and gas company.- Internal audit of commodity (oil and emissions), credit and FX risk of a large international oil and gas company in the Czech Republic.- Feasibility study for the introduction of electric meters and evaluation software for the main Czech cargo rail operator.- Analysis of methods for the transport of coal to a power plant for an important Czech electricity producer- Selection of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) application for a large Czech energy transmission and generation company.- Supported implementation of a treasury management application for the largest energy producing company in the Czech Republic.
