Dedicated to teaching Graphic Arts at UG level for more than eight years. Three years teaching in an international context as part of a collaborative programme with Dalian Polytechnic University in China. Gaining valuable experience supporting international students and developing teaching methodologies that encourage creativity, diversity and peer collaboration. Through my interest and commitment to HE literature, PGCAP studies, funded OFS research, to explore teaching methodologies that support and encourage students creative thinking and ability to self regulate. Disseminating and sharing these findings through staff workshops, the 2018 Advance HE national conference and an Assessment Focus Conference at The University of Birmingham.Confident understanding of Quality Assurance, blooms taxonomy, assessment literacy and curriculum planning developed through roles of teaching fellow, module conveyor, year coordinator (in year two, Dalian), flying faculty tutor with Dalian, Academic Appeals Officer, Academic Integrity officer and External Examiner roles. Experienced in preparing module handbooks, briefs, curriculum, writing module reports, prepare EE samples and regulating student records. Continuing to implement good teaching practice, creating teaching resources that include tutorial feedback sheets, lateral thinking exercises, VLE content and practice based workshops.
