Main assignment: R&D project management of new products for the Polypropylene resins business, focused in the automotive compounds (TPO's), appliances, toys, corrugate sheets, crates & pails;• Leadership of small and medium complexity project teams for the R&D area;• Project management across the Polypropylene resins business segments, oriented to technological differentiation, portfolio optimization, technology transfer and mkt share increase;• Responsible for the technical interface and construction of engagement with teams of Process Engineering, Production, analytical control laboratories, Application Engineering, Procurement and Strategic Marketing;• Responsible for business case delivery and raise of innovation pipeline value;• Focal point for presentation in the stage gate forums, project follow-up and critical analysis, with key stakeholders, commercial, industrial and innovation board;• Support in the development of technical routes and market feasibility analysis of new projects;• Build up financial analysis, risk matrix, schedules, status report and delivery of milestones;• Participation in ideation forums, technical agendas with technology suppliers and licensors;• Planning and coordination of industrial trials and small scale tests in pilot plant facilities;• Conduction of prospecting studies of new applications and product bechmarking data.

Main assignment: Leadership of technology transfer projects, continuous improvement studies and operational cost saving initiatives for the Coil Coating business, focused on the metal building and appliance segments.• Project management of technology transfer for mixing machine coating bases and formulations for siliconized polyester and polyester systems;• Development of formulations in Polyester / Melamine, PU, Epoxy, PVDF and Acrylic resin systems;• Conducting physical tests, accelerated aging: (QUV), weathering (wet chamber, salt spray, SO2 chamber), application testing and color development;• Technical report delivery, support for technical service team, manufacturing and supply chain;• Industrial support, application of process control tools and continuous improvement (lean six sigma);• Support in the development of analytical methodology for product characterization: Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), GC-MS, FTIR and Thermal Analysis (DSC and TGA).

Main assignment: Support to the technical development of innovation projects for the Polyamide business and intermediates, focused to the technical fibers and textile yarns segments.• Conduction of pilot scale try-outs, new product and process development studies;• Support to innovation project teams to perform laboratory tests in Nylon 6.6 polymerization pilot plant and fiber extrusion processing;• Responsible for supporting production engineering teams in the study of operationalization of new products for the fiber spinning process;• Development of analytical methodologies and material characterization (FRX; low field NMR, electrical conductivity and filterability curves);• Support in the development of polymerization in situ additive routes;• Support in the prospecting studies of composites process routes, and masterbatches;• Support to technical service teams in conducting physicochemical characterization tests of claimed products and benchmarking studies;• Preparation of technical reports;• Focal point for continuous improvement to analytical control laboratories by deploying measurement system analysis (MSA).

Main assignment: Technical support for the development projects of polyamide and intermediate business.• Support in process development projects and application development;• Performing physicochemical analysis techniques: rheology, laser granulometry, zeta potentiometry, surface tension, contact angle, microscopy, FTIR, DSC, TGA and wet analysis;• Preparation of technical test reports;• Technical presentations for interface areas and different company business.

R&D Product development of raw materials (surfactants and emulsions) as a solution lines for application in home & personal care segment. Use of sensory tests and statistical treatment tools.
