I designed and developed mobile apps to surface Business Intelligence services and Operational Awareness on mobile devices. I created interfaces that connected JackBe’s local platform with Jackbe’s instance of Amazon’s Cloud Computing environment. I created methods for centralizing user management for multiple environments and provided recommendations for improving software usability. I used multiple APIs to mashup data for interactive applications and dynamic services. I also worked with the Communications and Strategy Team to re-brand mashups as App Stores and Apps for Business Intelligence.

I worked with the Research and Development Team analyzing emerging technologies and providing detailed information concerning the ways in which technology can be used to improve communication and collaboration within the Enterprise. I provided guidance on using web standards, agile methods, and CMMI for process improvement. I also provided design & development services for many of the firm’s projects. I provided URS/EG&G and its government clients with engineering and strategy services. I worked with the NAVSEA Dahlgren Accreditation Team on process improvement for the Department of Defense Modeling and Simulation community. The United States Navy adopted the process as the U.S. Navy’s standard. My accomplishments with URS/EG&G include:Created and executed the marketing plan with the NAVSEA Dahlgren Accreditation Team to improve relationships between the Modeling & Simulation community and other government agencies. These improved relationships fostered collaboration that lead to lower cost and increased innovation across agencies.Created a Collaboration Platform for the NAVSEA Dahlgren Accreditation Team. This platform helped reduce email traffic, meeting time, and travel expense for team members.Created an Enterprise 2.0 Solution, I integrated hardware and software into a new platform to support process improvement and collaboration on the intranet. These efforts were integrated with other initiatives to win the Nielsen Norman Group Top Ten Intranets Design Award.Risk Analysis Platform for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - This web-based solution allowed multiple engineers from multiple locations to create scenarios to be analyzed for improving safety.Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Platform – A solution to help the organization reach next level of CMMI Accreditation.
