Upgraded and maintained the HIRMS (Hertz Insurance Replacement System) project to correct problems, including upgrading the servers and coding load balancing across multiple servers. Collaborated with the Hertz One team to correct the HIRMS performance issues and a reporting system for the HIRMS management. Developed additional process to receive XML files from a third-party vendor to be loaded into the HIRMS systems.Maintained the Fax Gate systems to solve and correct problems. Moved the primary Fax via email systems for Hertz to the Esker On Demand Cloud, and added services for Canada to use the Esker on Demand faxing.Maintained monitoring for the Filenet servers and processes, improving reporting and notifying personnel. Completed several personally designed projects to automate processes for the DRB group to create and approve the Daily Business reports.

Managed several projects to develop and maintain an automated process for the DRB group to save time and costs for the Daily Business reports from over 2000 locations. Developed and maintained an automated web page process for the ID Badges for all locations plus one central location to produce badges efficiently. Managed and maintained the Fax Gate systems to solve and correct problems. Worked with the Lotus Notes group to develop a more efficient method of adding personnel to receive faxes in Lotus Notes. Added controls into the systems to route traffic to the property system to handle fax processing on the correct phone lines. Managed moving the Fax via email systems for Hertz to the Esker On Demand Cloud.Developed and maintained custom scripts to monitor the Filenet servers and processes, reporting that all of the Filenet process are performing, that the files are being processed in a timely manner, and notifying personnel automatically when issues occur.Supported the database and web page applications of the Batch Tracker and Veeder-Root web pages plus managed the added responsibility to upgrade these web pages to work on new servers.

I created a reporting feature for management to generate a time tracking report of their employees. This report tracks time that the employee’s is at any at the Hertz main office locations. Maintained all of the security access control and Camera systems for all the Hertz main office locations. By either correcting any problems or getting the appropriate personnel to work on the problems. Developed and maintained the data base and web page applications of the Batch Tracker and Veeder-Root web pages. I was responsible for the upgrade of the Fax Gate systems. Solved and corrected the problems when they occurred.

I created automated features for users to the CA Harvest application for the Windows, HP UNIX, and IBM LINUX systems making the migration of files to the Qual and Production system easier for the users including working with the Prime Code application on the HP Nonstop systems and the Implementer application on the IBM systems. Giveing users the ability to migrate files to production systems in a controlled environment during their scheduled outage times on multiple platforms. A major player in resolving the Sarbanes-Oxley issue on collecting information from CVS application concerning files being released to the production environments. Created an automated process for the Harvest application to automatically build a package and load files from Maven into a package and promote the files and package into the Websphere QUAL environment for the ASAP,TAS, CAAS groups.Developed, created, and maintained Change Control’s webpage, database, plus automating processes to update the database, by collecting information from other systems, platforms, and databases including extracting information from Lotus Notes system. Created a data entry front end to the SQL database for collecting release information being schedule and performed by change control personnel.

Supported multiple systems HP UNIX, HP Nonstop, IBM LINUX and HP MPE3000 making sure that the nightly process ran correctly and correcting any problems that occurred.Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Systems Support’s webpage, and database to track request from users on changes or additions they were need done to the systems.Designed and developed an automated process to control the changes to the HP Nonstop nightly scheduler process.

Supported 28 HP MPE e3000 systems by maintaining JCL, job scheduling, job releases, and among other duties. Wrote several programs using HP C programming language which includes an application to notify personnel by email and text page when jobs or schedules having errors.Installed, configured, and maintained the OCS Librarian functions such as defining release steps to automate releasing process of files to the production. Created and maintained multiple complex jobs using the HP MPE JCL language, to create end user reports, jobs to monitor application up time, and jobs to load the developers programs on to the production environment on multiple systems.

Supervised workers of the Systems Technical support, Operations and Customer Support, which included training and the reviews of individuals. Supported the software and Hardware for three systems HP3000 980 Series and two 922’s which included the software packages Orbit, NSD, OCS, ASK MANMAN, and TML and a network for terminals and PC’s throughout the plant connecting them to the systems. Installed and tested system upgrades and patches for all three systems. Participated in the planning of a disaster recovery processes and the testing of the processes. Maintained the OCS job Scheduler for the nightly operations. Documented and wrote procedures for operations.
