Since it was a family friendly site, all user content (videos, pictures, comments, etc) was reviewed by customer service representatives. I designed the system that handled this approval process. I also helped to develop the ad portion of the site that handled the configuration and delivery of ads from the DART ad network. This system sent user and content related tags to the DART ad server. These tags allowed us to target users by age, or content by genre. I also helped develop the social networking aspects of the site. This job involved a lot of refactoring of quickly written code from its beginning.
