As a Board-member at JPC, I have been involved in Fund-raising by using ConstantContact (an e-mail blast program) to promote the organization and its services for the ROCtheDay annual region-wide fund raising effort and for other outreach efforts, as well. I am also on the Personnel Committee, which serves as a Human Resources role, working out employee and volunteer difficulties, using my training and experience in restorative circles, mediation and conflict resolution.

Worked in the Rochester office of Working Families getting the word out into the community for public funding of elections. Worked as part of the team on the Ted O'Brien for State Senate campaign, where we overcame a eight percentage point deficit in projected outcome in October to a commanding lead in the polls, and ultimately a victory where it counts-the final voting tally. The assignment ended with the successful election of Ted O'Brien.

I primarily represented self-insured coal mines in workers' compensation and Federal Black Lung cases. Notably, we brought a suit in federal district court challenging the constitutionality of the administration of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act under Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act and the due process clause of the fourteenth amendment.
