Since joining Holstein Corporation, I have been actively engaged in the development and enhancement of our project, Elevation, which aims to provide streamlined, user-friendly solutions for our admin team and customers. My journey here has been one marked by continuous learning, collaborative teamwork, and meaningful contributions.Key Achievements:Tag Lookup Feature: Engineered a dynamic tag lookup tool that significantly improves the search process for our admin team. This feature, which allows real-time searching across multiple parameters, enhances user experience and operational efficiency. It's capable of displaying thousands of tags instantly without the need for pagination or lazy loading, a vast improvement over our previous system.Catalog Product Sorting: Redesigned the process of adding products to a catalog and introduced a sorting feature on the catalog page, providing admins with the flexibility to customize product display as per evolving requirements.Promo Code Management: Refined the logic to better manage promo codes by enforcing quantity and order restrictions, ensuring a fair and beneficial use of promo codes for new and existing customers.Responsive Design: Addressed visual defects and enhanced the responsiveness of Elevation across various screen sizes, ensuring a seamless user experience regardless of the device used.In addition, I took the initiative to create a Confluence page for Java Developer Onboarding to facilitate a smoother transition for new developers joining our project, especially in a remote collaboration setting.I cherish the collaborative environment at Holstein and am motivated by the goal of delivering high-caliber, impactful solutions that propel our project forward. The CalSAWS Project and Consortium is the automated welfare business process in California which will serve all 58 California counties by 2023.Achievements/Tasks• Successfully led design efforts for the Client Correspondence Team, resulting in the addition and update of Notices of Action and Forms in 13 languages, as well as the successful migration of forms and business logic from the C-IV application to the CalSAWS application.• Facilitated discussions and meetings with Business Analysts, Build, Training & Test teams, consortium & county committee members, resulting in designs that achieved stakeholders' needs and addressed all concerns.• Created and maintained detailed documentation of designs and other artifacts to meet the needs of the client for system changes.• Conducted thorough codebase analysis, identified areas of improvement, and provided recommendations for service change requests, enabling accurate determination of requirements and estimates for designs that met the client's needs.

The C-IV project is the automated welfare business process supporting 39 California Counties. It has since migrated into the CalSAWS Migration project.Achievements/Tasks• Successfully contributed to the development efforts for the Client Correspondence Team, resulting in the addition and update of Notices of Action and Forms in 13 languages, as well as the migration of forms and business logic from the C-IV application to the CalSAWS application.• Developed and maintained a Spring MVC web application using Java back-end programming, created and updated DAOs to access and populate form information, Business logic & Business Object Model Rules to generate Notices of Action and Form related metadata via Oracle SQL.• Leveraged Adobe Designer and XML to create client Notices of Action and Forms that validated data, performed calculations, and automatically checked for errors, resulting in increased accuracy.• Coordinated and participated in structured peer reviews/walkthroughs to ensure code quality and consistency.• Actively contributed to the Assembly Test Build Master Team as a volunteer during extra-curricular rotations, where my duties included conducting daily regression testing, fulfilling assembly test environment build requests from developers via Jenkins, and identifying and troubleshooting build issues, resulting in significant improvements in software quality.
