Daniel's pedagogical mission is to give students across NYC the tools they need to feel confident shaping the future of their home. He strives to introduce students to fields they may not have exposure to in school, such as urban planning, urban design, and architecture. His main perspective on these fields is through history, and he endeavors to show students and others how the past can be used to inform the present. Daniel's teaching relies on revealing historical injustices to inform impactful planning today. As a life-long New Yorker, he is enthusiastic about its history and culture, and he aims to preserve its storied past while building a sustainable and equitable future.Daniel has developed holistic curriculum, led various teams through large projects, and has extensive experience in community outreach, historical research, and writing. He uses these skills to advance the goals of the organizations he partners with and to build a city that fully supports its diverse populations.
