Senior Director Of Publishing
CurrentDefines and delivers CAI's strategic content publishing plans that include the development of books, white papers, how-to guides, and brochures, as well as CAI’s periodical publishing calendar. -Serves as Editor-in-Chief for CAI periodicals including Common Ground magazine, Community Manager newsletter, Law Reporter, and Ungated blog. -Manages all aspects of the acquisitions, development, and positioning of CAI’s professional books and book-related resources (print and digital). -Sets a vision for CAI’s publications and periodicals program that meets association and revenue goals.-Ensures that the overall quality and content of CAI publishing meets the professional needs of CAI’s members and other audiences and advances the community association housing model. -Explores publishing trends and adapts the CAI periodicals and CAI Press bookstore to stay current in both editorial processes and delivery mechanisms as well as with market trends and audience needs that impact readership and books sales.-Guides CAI’s editorial content to ensure that it meets the definition and standards of the Institute and its affiliates, advances equity and diversity, and adheres to other guidance outlined by CAI’s mission and position statements.
