As a Deal Analytics Specialist, I am of the team leaders responsible for overseeing the growth of Data Analytics within the Deals in Malaysia. Responsibilities:1. Project DeliveryAs one of the key members in the CoE, I oversee and assist projects with voluminous and complex datasets that requires our expertise in data transformation (mainly using Alteryx) and data visualization (mainly using PowerBI). With our expertise, we are able to unlock efficiency gains and generate insights for better decision making, helping both the internal team and external clients better understand the business.Summary of key projects: a. Built various Monte Carlo model simulations using Alteryx to assist the Valuations team to generate a reasonable share option price after running 1 million simulationsb. Designed a market basket tool using Alteryx and PowerBI that enables retailers to improve product placements within their storesc. Spearheaded the design and implementation of a master dashboard using PowerBI enabling a local pharmaceutical chain with 14 stores to monitor sales performance, procurement status, inventory levels and incorporated an Assortment Review Matrix (ARM) to help identify key sales drivers generating footfall within respective stores.d. Assisted the Financial Due Diligence team to create a PowerBI dashboard to assist with the financial analysis of of a drinks company with 200+ outlets across Malaysia.e.
