Health Innovation Fellow
The International Center for Journalists & Gates Foundation now support my work illuminating how medical teams and other emergency responders innovate improved techniques for how civilians survive war and disaster. The project, also in cooperation with Humanitarian Bazaar's War Survivors Advisory, combines multimedia journalism, human rights advocacy, and humanitarian response.

Projects included: * The War Survivors Advisory | Multimedia improving emergency civilian protection in conflict;* Somali Sunrise (formerly known as Live from Mogadishu) | Documentary feature film;* Peer Counseling the Afghan Way | Danish Refugee Council manual to reduce domestic violence; * The Mogadishu Music Festival | Somalia's first international music festival since the war;* The Journey of Peace | A peace festival in the Dadaab refugee camps of Kenya;* And early support for the Sound Central Festival | The first rock festival in Afghanistan.

With CLEAR Global / Translators Without Borders I had the opportunity to co- design an innovative humanitarian information gateway for the Ukraine emergency including an AI navigated database built with Python, SQL, Elm, and so on. That overlapped work with Oxfam, WHO, and other partners.

Oversaw emergency response programs (food aid, livelihoods, shelter, water and sanitation, psychosocial, and medical) with a team of 150 working on both sides of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
