Dan Hillmer is a strategy adviser, urban designer and licensed architect. He has thirty five years of experience in public and private development projects throughout California. He has taught at the University of Illinois and served as guest urban design lecturer at Stanford University. Dan is currently working as senior adviser to uMETHOD Health Inc. (umethod.com) in northern California. uMETHOD Health Inc., based in Raleigh, NC, is a (CDSS) technology company providing an A. I. driven precision medicine platform enabling physicians to prevent and treat early stage Alzheimer's disease as well as depression and other chronic conditions. Dan also serves as VP to the Acus Foundation (acusfoundation.org) Hillmer is a City Councilmember in Larkspur, California and has served five terms as Mayor. He represents the City on the governing boards of the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) and the Marin County Council of Mayors and Councilmembers (MCCMC) to the Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Authority (SMART). He is a commissioner representing the North SF Bay Area (alt.) on the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC). He also sits on the Ross Valley Flood Zone 9 Advisory Board.
