Develop, implement, and assess SUNY's Seamless Transfer policies to ensure the success of over 60K transfer students per year.Convene and facilitate cross-sector faculty discussions of transfer curricula (‘Transfer Paths’) which have involved over 1,300 SUNY faculty members in 59 academic disciplines. Since 2015, the Transfer Paths have grown to enroll 148k+ students in 1,300 programs.Design and direct the multi-year transfer policy assessment plan in collaboration with faculty governance and Institutional Research. Interim assessment student outcomes data show statistically significant improvements in associate degree completion rates, time-to-degree, and credits-at-completion.Present program updates and results to key stakeholders and New York State and national audiences.Serve as co-principal investigator on the Expanding New York’s Educational Pathways project, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation ($250,000, 18 months), which aims to implement and test an AI-assisted advising platform developed by UC Berkeley’s Computational Approaches to Human Learning lab (CAHL) to auto-generate personalized transfer degree plans across institutions.Provide program direction and budgeting for the Degree Planning and Audit Program (‘Degree Works’). In academic year 2019-20, the program was implemented 50 campuses with nearly 300,000 unique users and 4.3 million logins.Serve as co-principal investigator for the College-in-Prison Reentry Initiative, a 5-year project funded by the New York State District Attorney's Office ($1M, 5 years), to pilot the delivery of standardized college programming in prisons to help incarcerated students earn college degrees, support their successful reentry into the community, and reduce recidivism.Lead related student success policies and initiatives, including cross-registration, reverse transfer, and general education reform.

Led the development and implementation of university-wide student success initiatives, including Seamless Transfer, cross-registration, and reverse transfer.Served as Program Director during the implementation phase of Ellucian's Degree Works software. Developed budgets, managed vendor relations, and provided team leadership to SUNY's application services and hardware hosting support organizations. Expanded program from 10 campuses to 45 campuses and provided advising services to a user base of over 275k students with over 4.3M logins in academic year 2017-18.Developed and tested new functionality in Degree Works ('Transfer Finder'), allowing students to search for academic programs across the system and perform cross-campus degree audits to visualize how their credits would transfer.To support SUNY’s Reverse Transfer initiative, collaborated with system office staff and campus registrars, to design, develop, and implement a system-wide web application to facilitate campus-to-campus data sharing to process requests using SUNY student unit record data.Co-authored a planning grant funded by the Mellon Foundation ($200K, 15 months) to collaborate with the Rockefeller Institute of Government (RIG) to research policy issues that may affect the adoption, implementation, diffusion, and effectiveness of prisoner education programs.

Performed policy analysis and development related to transfer student success.Collaborated across functional areas to support the University's strategic priorities, including implementation of Seamless Transfer policies, the Degree Planning and Audit initiative, and reverse transfer initiative. Ensured the flow of timely and accurate academic program information and data to promote student mobility and seamless transfer across the State University of New York's 64 campuses.

Participated in the design and implementation of online student transfer tools for the SUNY system.Authored and administered a survey of 19k transfer students to determine information gathering behaviors, satisfaction with online resources, and impacts of mediation on transfer outcomes. Collected and prepared course data for the transfer system database. Created interactive, multimedia screencasts with Adobe Presenter and Captivate.

Created database of state level regulations regarding cross-border activity. Developed qualitative coding scheme for regulatory documents. Supervised graduate students in data collection, qualitative coding, and inter-rater reliability check.Conducted site visits and interviews at branch campuses in Germany and the Czech Republic. Authored and administered an online survey of international branch campus leaders and wrote grant proposals, conference proposals, and journal submissions.

Taught in a summer school program run by TFA for students in Philadelphia public schools. Taught 8th grade English Language Arts at PS241 in Harlem, NYC.

Instructed jazz guitar students in instrumental technique, music theory, ear training and repertoire. Directed the student ensemble program and arranged performances for recitals and fundraisers.Organized clinics and workshops at local high schools which combined improvised music and performances of student poetry.
