Hey! I'm an OCT-certified teacher with a Master of Teaching from the University of Toronto, with teachables in Biology and General Science. Currently, I work as a long-term occasional (LTO) teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), creating engaging science, chemistry, and biology lessons for grades 9-12.I graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Life Sciences degree, double-majoring in Human Biology and Psychology. My academic journey included a supervised study thesis on empathy and political beliefs conducted at Dr. Michael Inzlicht's Work and Play Lab, and was supplemented by campus leadership in a faith club over several years. My professional experience spans teaching, sales, and healthcare. Notably, as a Business Development Representative at Cambridge Brain Sciences (now Creyos Health), I pitched neurocognitive assessments to physicians in the Central and Pacific United States, and during the pandemic, I worked as a vaccine clinic screener, helping get Scarborough to 500,000 patients vaccinated against COVID-19. Outside work, I’m a musician at St. Barnabas Parish.I'm passionate about science education and always open to new opportunities. Let's connect!
