Led critical research and development activities for next generation transcatheter mitral valve repair delivery system. Responsibilities included: • Re-design of guide sheath catheter and seal assembly to improve aspirability and robustness of catheter system• Test method development for characterization of component and system level functional performance • Implant catheter and steerable catheter design characterization and optimization • Development and execution of design verification test plan • Primary investigator on all required animal studies for delivery system

Actively managed domestic and international suppliers in support of diverse team of internal stakeholders including quality, operations, R&D, and marketing. Primary technical responsibilities included process development & validation, test method development & validation, and development of component specifications & drawings. Provided general engineering support to Irvine and international Critical Care operations team. I am currently conducting research with Dr. Stephen Klisch, Dr. Tom Mackin, and Dr. Brian Self at Cal Poly's Human Motion and Biomechanics Lab. I am co-primary investigator on the QL+ Kinematic and Kinetic Database project described below. Collaborated with cross functional team of Stryker employees and third party manufacturers to resolve emergent product non-conformances and ensure quality production of several Stryker products including arthroscopic drill guides and acellular dermal matrix. Developed framework to streamline dock to stock shipment qualification of OEM and CM products.
