Primary responsibility is managing procurement activities and projects for Strategic Capacity/Procurement division. Identify and develop carrier relationships to establish contracted rates and dedicating capacity across our contracted network. This includes:-Manage sourcing projects on a year-round basis in relation to client bid cycles as well as company needs.-Coordinate and develop strategy with key stakeholders to reach established goals and relieve pain points.-Work with multiple divisions within company to identify needs and develop and execute plan to achieve those goals. -Develop, build, and execute RFP bid proposals across Coyote's freight network.-Negotiate both short and long term contracts with carrier network.-Provide reporting and analysis based on past company performance vs. projected performance based on RFP activity.-Review, evaluate and award business based on analysis and projected performance.

Work in our Strategic Capacity division where my primary goal is to identify and develop opportunities to promote efficiency within our network. This includes-Developing strategic plans to source capacity for potential and existing business-Establish RFPs for enterprise freight volume with over 300 carriers per RFP project. -Manage, implement and execute a complete routing guide based on bid awards-Negotiate short term and long term contracts with carriers-Establish and monitor KPI for carrier performance in relation to awards-Utilize and train carriers on the use of Coyote's TMS system -Identify and execute key areas within the company where strategic pricing can decrease costs and increase revenues.

I managed a sales operations group handling brokered operations for major alcohol manufacturer. Responsible for increasing freight volumes while sustaining growth in revenues and profit margin.Responsibilities include sales, pricing (spot and long term contracts), issue resolution, tender management, operational planning, and general day-to-day account management. . Identifying key areas of customer's supply chain that can be targeted for improvement. Through on-site investigation of customer's facilities, we are able to identify inefficiencies and suggest solutions for optimization to reduce down-time, costs, and increase profitability. Generate growth of volume, revenues, and margin through development of carrier capacity in various markets and seasonality. Final decision making on freight options and load acceptance. Managed a Collaborative Transportation Management sales operations team, management of both contracted and spot-quoted freight, truckload, less than truck load, intermodal, rail, ocean and air transportation, expedited service requests, customer service, issue resolution, and compliance.Responsibilities include freight network management, carrier operations, day-to-day operations, issue resolution and quality control, developing efficient methods within the transportation network, as well as a multitude of other roles.Tasked with coordinating and maintaining inbound transportation tendering, tracking, and tracing system as well as strategic development of the client's entire supply chain.

Assist in day to day operations of freight for high profile fast-food chain. My primary role as to assit in expedited crucial shipments needed in stores typically within hours of the request being made. Tasks included but were not limited to pricing, quality, issue resolution, tracking and tracing, supply chain optimization.

I was a flight student for about one year until receiving my VFR Private Pilot rating.
