Daniel was recently an Associate Attorney with The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC. He was responsible for a daily caseload of 150-175 cases between pre-litigation and litigation cases from intake through treatment, reviewing and drafting demands, settlement, arbitration, litigation and trial. Daniel developed working relationships with orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, therapists and doctors.Prior to working at Bottaro Law Firm, Dan worked at Brederson Law where he was responsible for the daily court calendar for the firm for civil, workers compensation, criminal and traffic matters as well as mediations, arbitrations, and depositions for pre-litigation and litigation cases. He argued a denial of MSJ appeal to the RI Supreme Court.Dan was the founder and principal at Daniel J. Neal, Attorney at Law. Daniel was a solo practitioner whose practice focused on matters including criminal defense in RI District Courts, Superior Courts, and RI Traffic Tribunal, estate planning, HPOAs, financial powers of attorney, guardianships, landlord/tenant, drafting deeds and probating estates. Dan worked with Attorney Kevin O. Hagan out of Newport, RI assisting with court appearances in RI District and Superior Courts, RI Traffic Tribunal and MA District Courts for arraignments, pre-trial conferences, plea agreements and negotiations, dismissals, expungements, and clerk-magistrate hearings. He also provided assistance with the drafting of pre-trial motions.Dan provided contract assistance to Almagno Law including drafting of civil complaints, motions, civil demand letters and negotiating settlements on RI civil and criminal matters in District and Superior Court. Dan worked as a volunteer attorney for the Rhode Island Center for Law and Public Policy defending tenants in nonpayment of rent eviction cases in RI District Courts, presented cases in RI Probate Court on probate matters, and argued an administrative appeal at RI Housing and Contractor's Registration Board.
