Manage/coordinate the migration of tax documents/withholding from one system to another. These multi-year, highly visible initiatives with tight timeframes are known as the ASP to GSP Conversion, PNC to GSP Conversion, and the CMS to GSP Conversion. This is a cross functional team that focuses on a smooth transition between custody systems by ensuring that the client’s US Taxes and Withholding remain unaffected during the transfer. The responsibilities include: coordinating both at the account (up to 4000 accounts a month) and relationship level between 10 to 20 indirect reports (several tax teams), quality assurance, leveraging department resources, setting priorities, and designing interactive solutions.Successfully finished the migration of tax docs/withholding for the PNC to GSP Conversion. This initiative focused on a smooth transition between banking entities (PNC to BNY Mellon). My duties include acting as liaison between the tax operations and the corporate team, ensuring the client’s US taxes remain unaffected, and coming up with interactive solutions. The Top department project coordinator within US Tax. I became the expert on turning around projects after projects when they got off track and behind schedule. I was brought in to help find ways to minimize exposure and risk to BNY Mellon. In addition, I learned how to design, plan and implement projects from start to finish. Responsibilities included completing financial/research analysis, suggesting solutions, exposing the root cause, finding ways to be pro-active, and minimizing escalations.
