When I first started to draft this commemoration, it started off as a list with credits like, "two Seasons of live Broadcasting Bill Murray's baseball team" this, and "trusted personal relationship with Oscar-winner" that; "alone in my private broadcast booth with superstar" this, and "sincerely unsolicitedly complimented by the leader of the free World" that, but when attempting to compile a comprehensive recollection of the past decade, Tracy, and I simply could not. There are just too many special moments, and singular experiences You to recount.It's been an absolutely thrilling ride, I must say, as reviewing a memory box full of mementos on this occasion brought back rushes of so many golden days, and nights. We are very lucky to live where we do, and are so grateful for the gracious experience we have been afforded.Our success with the MVPBS social media promotion, and exclusive films project could only have happened on Martha's Vineyard.I guess I'm most proud of eight straight Seasons as Official Videographer for the MVRHS Football Team, and earning the trust of the key figures of this place to give me the responsibility of being let into the most exclusive companies on earth.More than anything what I have had retaught to me the most over, and over again is that I'm actually the funniest person on the planet, but I am so glad, so glad, that I chose family over fame.Our best times always never include recording devices of any kind except for our sweet memories, and for that I am eternally thankful.

All things must pass, it seems. With the retirement from broadcasting after 40 illustrious years of Mr. Ken Goldberg, and the reretirement of our legendary Hall of Fame Coach Donald Herman, it is time for me to step down as the Official Videographer of the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Football Team after nine glorious Seasons. My Great Uncle Dan McCarthy founded the MVRHS program in 1960, and it has been my distinct privilege, and proud honor to continue in his tradition, and serve the Island community to the best of my ability through these years. All of this work is archived with MVTV in perpetuity. I’m definitely going to miss being high above the 50 yard line with the best vista in the stadium, and I hope I am remembered fondly for my commitment to the Team. Thanks for the memories, and Go Vineyarders!
