As Assistant Brand Manager I managed the marketing and brands for leading consumer goods across Europe, the Nordics and the UK, including St Ives, Simple, Vaseline, Toni&Guy and Lifebouy hand sanitiser. My role touched every aspect of a Unilever brand’s life cycle including developing artwork, communications strategies, working with creative agencies, distributors, print agencies and regulatory bodies.

I managed a portfolio of newsbrands across the Midlands and South-West from BirminghamLive to Bristol Post, launching high-impact, community-focused campaigns including the award-nominated #BrumFeeds which raised 220 tonnes for Birmingham's foodbanks.

Shakespeare's England is the official Destination Management Organization for Warwickshire and surrounding areas. As Marketing Coordinator, I devised and implemented Shakespeare’s core marketing strategy, incorporating a mix of above and below the line activities to drive tourism in the region, including launching the Shakespeare’s England Visitor Pass, guidebook, augmented reality visitor trails. This included content creation (newsletters, articles, social media and blog posts) and building and managing partnerships with Royal Shakespeare Company, Warwick Castle, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and others.

In this role I led on the marketing and promotions for Unilever's products in Malta, working closely with distributors and creative agencies to devise impactful, locally-relevant advertisements and brand communication. I was also the project lead on marketing Brut in the UK, where I was responsible for the positioning, development, and strategic promotion of the iconic and distinctive men's fragrance brand. In this capacity I drove a dynamic repositioning of the brand via a successful strategic partnership with world-leading cricketer James Anderson, which has driven a significant uplift in both Brut's sales and its equity amongst consumers.
