Lead Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities initiatives pertaining to the warehousing and order fulfillment of retail and wholesale product groups. Work with key business drivers to adapt the operation to meet changing needs and growth. Responsible for providing operational support from a facilities and maintenance perspective, ensuring the correct tools are reliably available to accomplish ever growing and evolving business objectives.

Domestic ResponsibilitiesSite Industrial Engineer- Identify and address opportunities to increase productivity, decrease cost, and improve overall efficiencies throughout 1 million sq. ft. facility- Support daily operations from an engineering and maintenance standpoint through collaboration with appropriate work streams; reducing overall downtime, conducting obsolescence reviews and maintenance contract negotiations- Manage all phases of capital projects from opportunity identification, design, feasibility study, cost justification, capital allocation request, procurement, and implementation.Green Team Captain- Pursue all feasible green initiatives, striving for carbon neutrality while simultaneously maintaining or improving facility productivity, quality of workplace environment, fulfillment cost, and customer satisfaction.- Contributions include: biodegradable and other green packaging efficiencies; Managed the installation of a 2 MW Solar Array resulting in 25% annual energy savings; Implementation of Conveyor Sleep modes reducing annual consumption by 15%. Logistics Section Chief, Incident Management Team - FEMA Incident Command System Certification via US Department of Homeland SecurityInternational Responsibilities- Project Manager responsible for driving results of all work streams.- Work Stream lead, overseeing material handling and building fit out.- Projects range from upgrading an existing facility to green/brown field construction; including overall layout design of the warehouse and its operations flow.- Analysis of market growth, inventory, and operations performance to determine requirements for new facilities and improvements to existing facilities, including optimal location studies.- Supervise on-site implementation and ongoing support for changes.- Implementation management for facility and system upgrades. - Projects to date include work in: Canada, Nigeria, India, Spain, Brazil and Mexico.
