I was Involved in all aspects of the rebuild as acting project consultant, using my expertise to organize and oversee contractors, contracts, purchasing, remediation, and a complete IT overhaul including the implementation of a new ERP system.Some of the purchases include:- Building remediation and rebuild- Purchase and contract negotiation of 6 textile printing / finishing equipment- Complete IT overhaul, everything from cable plant to computers, phones to Fishbowl Inventory ERP system.- Ancillary contractors to furnish each segment of the projectResponsibilities include:- Oversee the demolition and reconstruction which included the temporary installation of natural gas and generators to enable wallpaper printing production to continue until city utilities were restored. - Equipment purchase- Contract negotiation - Layout, installation and commissioning of a new Stovec RD8 16 color Rotary Screen Printer, Unitech Tenter Frame, Arioli Steamer, Mezzera Washing Range, and SPG Prints Javelin Digital Printer.

Machines upgraded: complete controls replacement of fixation steamer for printed fabric color formation, tenter frame flame safety / burner system, rotary screen-printed wallpaper production line accumulator and HMIs, web guiding system on rotary screen fabric printer, control system overhaul on in-house built single screen wallpaper sample printer (tension controls, web guiding, and PLC). I managed and replaced the entire IT infrastructure which included the purchase of new computers and server, a tiered / strategic migration plan to transition off dated IT assets and production software, and the in-house development of a new manufacturing execution software. Other services included handling of the facilities environmental and operating permits with the County, State and City. Permits include: Air Operating Permit, TIER II, Solid Waste Permit, Industrial User Wastewater discharge permit.
