I oversee multiple teams of professionals who represent TELUS in regulatory, competition, and other public law proceedings before the CRTC, ISED, the Competition Bureau and other federal administrative bodies, and before the courts. My group also provide legal advisory and compliance advice, and work closely with our government relations and public affairs teams.

I lead a team of professionals who represent TELUS in regulatory proceedings before the CRTC, ISED, the Competition Bureau and other federal administrative bodies, as well as before the Federal Court of Appeal. I also provide strategic public policy and government relations advice on telecommunications initiatives and consultations.

I represented clients in civil litigation at all levels of court, as well as before administrative and regulatory tribunals. My practice was focused on large scale corporate commercial disputes and complex class actions.I took multiple cases to trial. My clients spanned many different industries, especially the financial services and consumer goods industries. I represented media organizations and Aboriginal groups.My experience included:•Successfully representing a major payment card network in a major resale price maintenance hearing before the Competition Tribunal•Successfully representing a proprietary trading corporation in a multi-week corporate and wrongful dismissal trial•Successfully representing a leading Chinese language Canadian newspaper publisher in a lengthy libel trial•Representation of a major offshore corporate trustee in a large class action arising from a complex tax/charitable gift program
