SYMMETRIA Medical Clinics have provided me with the ability to work in the highest level using the most up to date evidence based practise in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics. Working as a Head Dietitian gave me the opportunity to enhance my managerial skills, alongside keeping up with high quality dietetic practise. My duties at SYMMETRIA are consisted of:• Responsible of all Dietitian practice in the SYMMETRIA departments at Athens, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. • Performing baseline education seminars to all new Dietitians, regarding the principles and nutritional orientation that the brand supports. • Treating, through tailored made nutritional interventions, cases of obesity, diabetes, nephropathy, cancer, Crohn’s disease, iron deficiency and many more.• Performing extensive anthropometric measurements such as body composition measurements (BIA & Skinfolds- ISAK Level 1 accreditation), height measurements, girth and circumference measurements. Additional measurements are also performed such as Basal Metabolism measurements. • Collaborating with physicians of multiple specialties such as dermatologists, general physicians, cardiologists and plastic sergeants providing interdisciplinary tailored made interventions for individuals with a complicated medical history. • Use of the Clinic’s novel Pro-G-Diet weight management protocol, providing patients with individualized meal plans, educational workshops and motivational interviewing. • Operation of various weight management machines such as I-lipo, Xero Lipo and Hypoxy. • Writing food and nutritional articles for the Clinic’s magazine and blog.

I have been working with the mens Water Polo team of Peristeri GS since 2017-2018. It was the end of that year that the team was promoted in the A1 legue. My main duties are consisted of delivering frequent body analysis measurements, advising athletes about supplement stacks, as well as delivering small team talks/presentation about hydration, carb loading, immune prevevtion and many more.

• Preparation and delivery of high quality lectures in multiple modules such as Clinical Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Basic Nutritional Facts, Food Safety, Food Preparation, Obesity and Metabolism and Conduction of Nutritional Food Programs for Healthy Populations. • Delivery of practical educational courses regarding anthropometric measurements (using skinfolds, height measurements etc.), preparing isotonic athletic drinks, operating equipment such as DXA and BIA. • Organizing field trips to food industries, hospitals and sports centers to familiarize students with settings that they will potentially work in.• Escorting students to seminars and educational courses.

Working in a clinical setting such as 451 Hellenic Hospital of the military air forces provided me with all the essentials to apply the most contemporary knowledge regarding the Clinical Dietetics field, in real-life practice.The hospitals dietetics department works is in collaboration to the rest of the medical staff, providing high quality services to patients with Diabetes, Obesirt, Autoimmune Diseases, Cancer and more.

Worked for Oxford Brookes Rugby Team, Oxford during a two month case study regarding '​'Muscle hypertrophy for amateur level rugby union player in rehabilitation, after severe shoulder injury'​'​. During that period I was assigned to plan a nutritinal strategy, focusing on rapid muscle hypertrophy, for an athlete in rehabilitation. The aim was to prepere that specific athlete for the upcoming team's play-off games. More specifically, my role was consisted of: • Assessment of the nutritional status of the athlete.• Consultation regarding the appropriate nutritional supplements.• Conducting a resistance exercise program as well as endurance based exercises.• Body-composition analysis with BIA and 7-site skinfolds. • Day to day individualized dietary programs as well as providing convenient and easy cooking choices appropriate for students.• Planning hydration strategies. • Grocery shopping - educational reasons (counting macronutrients)• Multiple one to one meetings.

• Overall responsibility of the establishment of the hospital’s patient’s well-being and nutrition status.• Worked in collaboration with the hospital’s Diabetes Clinic counseling, educating and planning meals for type I and type II diabetic patients. • Responsible for the surveillance of the hospital’s cooking facilities as well as the receipt and food control. • Worked with obese patients in order to accomplish body weight loses.• Counseling and educating children of the hospital’s primary school about basic nutritional rules and habits.
