As part of my Entrepreneurship and Innovation course, I came up with the idea for ParkingPals, an app concept aimed at simplifying parking in lots using real-time data from sophisticated sensors. My initial pitch received the second-most votes from classmates. I worked closely with a team of talented friends to further develop the concept, including a design plan and a prototype that showcased the app’s intended appearance and functionality. We collaborated on brainstorming and business model development, focusing on revenue from sensor installation fees and a subscription model. The project was presented at the New Venture Expo to a panel of live judges.
