In my role leading the Infrastructure NSW Asset Management team, I provide oversight and advise on the NSW government’s entire asset portfolio as managing the implmentation of the NSW Government Asset Management Policy. I am responsible for enhancing agency asset management capabilities, analysing trends and risks, and driving strategic actions to optimise performance and deliver improved outcomes across government.I have successfully led significant reforms, including integrating asset management into the budget process to better align investment with government priorities. A notable achievement is my leadership in producing the 2023 State of Infrastructure Report, which acted as a catalyst for transformative change across the NSW government asset portfolio.I have also developed and implemented critical policies to improve agency performance in cost estimation, capital project management, and asset maintenance reporting, among other areas. These initiatives have required extensive collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of government and a deep understanding of operational and policy frameworks.

Part of the investor assurance team, responsible for leading, directing and planning investor assurance for the whole of government infrastructure program to ensure the NSW Government agencies are developing and delivering fit for purpose, timely and cost effective solutions that meet the needs of the community. Focussed on transport and regional projects. I alos lead the asset mangement assurance team which ensure NSW government agency infrastructure portfolios are aligned to government priorities, are supporting the service outcomes that the community needs and are managed in a fiscally efficient and effective manner.

Provided mentoring and direction to students undertaking the capstone project course in the Masters of Project Management program. The capstone project provides students with the opportunity to carry out a defined piece of independent workplace related research and assessment in a way that fosters the development of practical research skills relevant to project management. Students work in small, randomly selected groups on an assigned real-world project for the semester. The concepts covered depend on the nature of the project.
