I am a member of the Wealth Management team at Walker Crips Group. I head up the technical and paraplanning department, designed to assist with the research and reporting functions, and to help them deliver our service proposition. This proposition will ensure weremain at the forefront as North Yorkshires premier wealth management and investment consultancy.

Working within the Private Clients Team of Gallagher Employee Benefits, I manage the paraplanning unit which provides dedicated support to the advisors, a function that is delivered nationally to all Private Clients consultants from the Leeds office. In addition I maintained my FSA CF30 and “competent advisor” status, with the intention of combining management and advisory work once the paraplanning unit was less reliant on my presence. I have helped evolve a post RDR advice proposition which is currently being delivered and created processes to assist with the service commitment. I have experience of staff recruitment and training.

Regional IFA directly authorised by the FSA, one of three RI’s mainly involved with high net worth individuals and corporate clients. My main duties were paraplanning for the Managing Director, and also servicing group schemes, attending trustee meetings, new entrant meetings and annual reviews and pre-retirement counseling. Part of the role was new business production, also involved with research and product development, and heavily involved with the implementation of IT systems.
