After graduating college at Slippery Rock University I set out to look for a career in the Information Technology field. Initially I would have liked to start a career in Website Development/Website Design. This is because my initial background in college was graphic Design and Digital Marketing, and my remaining background and semesters were in Information Technology with a focus on Web Programming. I was feeling unsuccessful in finding a opportunity in those fields so I looked to other means since I was already in sales while in school I felt maybe just continue with that. I found out I was pretty good at that as well, so I continued the path with sales and marketing.I was looking to get back into IT and was looking for chance to prove my value to a company. TSP gave me that opportunity and I have shown not only my work ethic, my drive to learn more, and positive attitude, but also I have proven my knowledge in IT. I have grown very quickly to having an understanding of how to solve almost any issue that arises. My sales experience carried forward to my amazing customer service skills and being able to communicate well to end users as well as other technicians or manager. I have hade some great survey reviews for my work as a technician so far and strive to keep satisfying customers while providing efficient and excellent resolutions. I am always looking to grow ether it be with the same company or a different one as my next step of my journey. My goals going forward are to focus on Networking Security and Systems Admin so I can begin executing and understanding a higher level of thinking for issues pertaining to small to large enterprise company. I am studying for my CCNA with the goal to take it at the beginning of the new year.Currently I am working for a large enterprise company of over 30,000+ employees. Some of these end users of which I do not support, but are all connected in some way over the network. I’m excited for what is next in store for my career.
