I manage academic projects on numerous platforms and ranging in complexity for this international educational publishing company and assessment provider serving institutions and students.I plan and oversee etextbooks and digital courseware across subjects including sciences, social sciences, and finance, with responsibility for development planning, content reviews and feedback, and assessment production — reaching thousands of learners annually.During my time with Pearson, I have advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, from Digital Content Developer to Senior Content Developer to Content Manager. I am known for continuously enhancing and streamlining the development process workflow to improve efficiency and quality.I also develop interactive and educational systems in the role of primary specialist for platform strategies for each project I manage.I hire and coordinate subject matter experts and freelance content developers for digital and print higher education content, providing them with guidance and support in developing effective learning materials and quality assessment.Further, I enable informed decision making for content planning by consulting data analytics dashboards. And where possible, I enable metrics to track the effectiveness of content in helping students to achieve their learning outcomes.

In this short-term role I worked with Law Society of Ontario subject matter experts on a first-of-its-kind pilot project to develop and launch an eight-month online articling program. An approved pathway to lawyer licensing in Ontario, the program has successfully grown into an established offering.I improved the consistency, navigation, and clarity of instructional materials by reviewing, editing, and performing quality assurance on content and platform interface. I liaised with instructional designers, software developers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to establish and enforce professional standards and systems.

I collaborated with leading academics across nursing, social work, and the social sciences to facilitate the process of taking manuscripts from acquisition to production. I organized peer reviews, developed pedagogy, informed design, and developed content, while maintaining relationships with authors, editors, and contributors.
