In this role, I am responsible for articulating and managing ERG International’s overall ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) programme and oversee the execution of its initiatives and strategies, ensure compliance and support reporting for the regions, as well as engage with the broader ESG community to build partnerships and share best practices.

 Lead the organization of onboarding for the new 2017 Preparedness Procedure in close collaboration with ROs and HQ Divisions’ mid- and senior level colleagues.  In close coordination with the EMOPS Humanitarian Learning Specialist, prepare learning materials on Preparedness (advocacy content, tutorials, videos, infographics), set agenda, and provide follow-up. Collaborate with the HPS KM Specialist and ROs to develop a Knowledge Management plan and facilitate the dissemination of lessons learned by capturing and synthesizing identified contents.

 Acted as the coordination focal point for the development of the biggest annual “Humanitarian Action for Children donor appeal” (over $6 billion) and delivered a qualitative report in record timing.  Liaised with ROs & COs executive management and colleagues to define appeal requirements, scopes and objectives, as well as to ensure conformity and compliance across offices. Responsible for synthesizing the results achieved in 2016, 2017 programmatic targets, the people/children to be reached and the funding requirements across countries within the HAC Overview presented to donors.

Brindisi Area, Italy

 Led the planning and organization of the Brindisi emergency simulation by ensuring that effective systems are in place to secure timely and budgeted deliverables. Established project management tools to evaluate progress, mitigate issues as they arise and facilitate Executive Directors’ buy-in (including Regional Directors, Country Representatives and Donors) when necessary. Led the organization of the high-level Fragility Workshop in Geneva and supported the interactions by participating to group exercises among Regional Directors, Country Representatives and HQ senior management.
