About Daniel Dawson

Software engineer with professional experience in Kotlin/Java native Android development, with the ability to contribute to Javascript (Angular/React) and iOS code bases if needed. On the side I still enjoy working with Ruby on Rails as an API, exploring the potential of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM), and helping people find their first jobs in the tech industry by doing things like hosting data structure and algorithm lectures.Before I found code, I worked in restaurant/cafe management where I first developed skills in problem solving, team building and interpersonal relationships that helped reach goals that satisfied customers' needs while achieving company growth. Don't worry, I still make a killer cup of coffee.The rest of the time I enjoy being a father, husband, whittler, bird watcher and fantasy reader.
