Led weekly executive cabinet meetings, including an agenda, projects to vote on, and motions to pass. Planned events for the Jewish Student Community (3,000 + people) including student leadership dinners, guest speakers, social justice events, and volunteer opportunities. Part of the Hillel Int Org, the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, working with college students globally. Engaged and met students at org fairs, meetings, and outreach events to introduce them to the Texas Hillel. Liaison between the student Jewish Community and Dean’s office along with student government.

Identified and engaged incoming Jewish freshmen students at orientation. Coordinated logistics of welcoming events for freshmen such as BBQs, meetups, and tours. Planned and marketed BBQs each week to incoming freshmen and current students by social media, flyers on campus, text chain, Facebook messages, and word of mouth. Responsibilities for the BBQ included: purchasing food, grilling food, setting up, opening the building, and cleaning the building afterward.

Designed an application form, recruited applicants, interviewed and hired interns. Trained interns on new policies and procedures. Created a team environment that was open to dialogue. Met weekly with the supervisor to discuss the team and tasks given. Organized the first annual student based phone-a-thon for donations and the following phone-a-thon for thank you calls. Wrote script, trained Interns on calling, and led the team to raise 4500 dollars. Provided the same services as First Impression Intern (see next entry). 10 hours per week for 40 weeks.

Provided reception services during academic year building hours. Engaged prospective students by giving tours and providing information on the campus and Jewish community at the University. Provided logistics services to office staff by answering phone calls, emails, and talking to guests.Maintained the safety and security of the building by controlling entrances and exits from the remote-lock system at the front desk. 9 hours per week for 40 weeks.

An observational and hands-on internship working with physical therapists, chiropractors, and patients. 165 hours of observational and hands-on experiences with patients.

Programmed and led activities while guiding campers in life skills and personal growth. Provided leadership opportunities to campers and staff. Acted as a role model to campers via participation, cleanliness, rules, and sportsmanship. Wrote verbal and written reports to Camp Directors and Parents regarding camper’s and staff’s behaviors, growth, and daily struggles. Led a group of children (20-30 children per group) with varying degrees of ability (around 3-8 campers with disabilities per group). Led staff as a supervisor (2-11 staff) reported to me directly. Attended head staff meetings daily.

Provided leadership opportunities to campers and counselors-in-training. Acted as a role model to campers via participation, cleanliness, rules, and sportsmanship. Attended Staff meetings weekly. Helped clean up camp at the end of each day.
