Inspired by Richard Gill and passionate about all children having access to a quality music education in their classrooms, I have taught Music across the learning continuum from Pre-School to HSC in my 26 years as a Music teacher. I have held positions at state, systemic and independent education institutions and am Lead Mentor for Music in Me (formerly the National Music Teacher Mentoring Program).I am a strong advocate for learning through play and believe that the teaching and learning of music should be active, experiential and sequential; supported by many experiences of listening, playing, moving and music making. I believe that exceptional musical experiences can be created from even the simplest of resources. With our voices, our bodies and our imaginations, the possibilities are endless!
